Peek-A-Boo

Maya Road put out this really cute book with open frames of different sizes and types on each page. If you cover the last page they focus in on one small point on the back page, or it could be left open and you would see right through the book at that little spot. I chose to cover the back page and all the of the squares narrowed down to the word 'me'.

Now somehow I did not take a picture to show this overlapping look from the front, so I hope you can imagine how it looks. I like doing books with openings on the front because the things you put on there look like they are flying...not just laying on the cover.

The book has little pieces that fit each opening though, so that you could just have some of the pages open and some would be covered. I covered 3 of the openings in the page above--giving it a little bit of a checkerboard feel. It is a little hard to tell with the big bug on it though.

I used the Cosmo Cricket 'Girl Friday' paper line and chipboard embellishments. I thought it could make a fun notebook among other things. Of course putting the pages in the book would cover up the holes. Oh well.

That is the fun of putting things together for the store. Sometimes it works out perfectly, sometimes it doesn't, but it still shows the book and the lovely paper line.

Plus, the next person will make it even better-improving the original. I really just had fun with all their cute sayings and pictures :)

There are promises of increasing sunshine and warmer temperatures--I am soooo glad.
